Let me introduce you to : The BALMORAL A5!!

Wow...I am still "wowed"!
Once I saw this one on a guets post about the Balmoral A5 on "deligted - blogpost" here.Yes,I fell in love ;o))
A few days later (!!!) it found ME on Ebay (it was kind of "hidden" as a "Filofax Bridle/personal size",what I wasn`t looking for)!!!I tried my best to convince the seller,to make a price for me...the communication got stuck somehow,think she wanted just too much ;o)
The last  30seconds I got VERY EXITED!!I wanted to give my last bit at the last few seconds.
At least I made it,for a real good price *yeaaaah*

The Balmoral is a very exclusive binder.It is very stiff,lightyears away from lying flat.
First the leather had sort of a plastic touch,not flexible or puffy.Now,that it is in use,it is getting more flexible,the leather starts feeling like leather - and I am more in love,than ever before :o))
It has all those wonderful pockets and bigger rings than the A5 Malden :o)
And as a surprise - it has kind of a wallet-pocket!!

I was really lucky,because it is in unused condition!!!It came with all of the inserts (calender of 2003 :o) )

Now this beautiful book is my "blog-binder" - and it keeps the letters from my "Filofax-friendships" :o)

THIS IS MY FAVORITE BINDER!!!

The compact Regency "marrone",from bella Italia :o)

This is a binder that never appeared on my wishlist,because it was way toooo expensive.
I wanted to give the compact size a try and ordered a compact Chameleon at a 50% less-price-offer (what else ;o)) ),but it arrived looking as it came in closer contact to...Dschingis Khan...??Half of the rings were opened,the calendar-pages were coming out...the spine just seemed as if it is not in the middle.
I was really pi..... about that,because I had some "Chameleon-trouble"before,had to return some,because of discoloration.
So...I returned it right away to FF-Germany.
At the same time,the italian Filofax-site had SOME nice offers...!The Regency in compact size was priced 59 EUR!!
I started watching the few existing videos (thank you Imy :o)) ),to get a closer look at that binder.

The leather is kind of "sparkling",it lies flat,out of the box.
It has enough creditcard-pockets,to make me sing :o)
It has those two full height pockets on both sides (for cash or some secrets)...
but it has no zip-pocket.Ok,I knew that before - but I really need and miss one,because I wanted to use this as a wallet.

 The compact Regency came without a daymarker/ruler,so I made my own one...

 I put in a "week at a page calendar",to slim it down a bit ...

 This is the leather-case of my Grandfather...it slips easily in the pocket on the right side :o)

 WONDERFUL pockets!!

I found some zipped pockets,that I could use IN that binder: A zipped pen-pocket from my Grandfather,that I show you on the photos,or a very small zipped leather pocket,sort of a a keyholder,that I could click into the top-ring.
Right now I am not using this pretty thing,because I am so in love with the pocket Chameleon ;o)

A vintage one : The ASCOT!

The vintage Filos seem to find ME on Ebay :o)
The day the Ascot arrived it was pretty cold outside...and I was not at home.So the postman deposited the parcel at the cellar-door...it was almost frozen...!!I wrapped the poor thing into a warm towel and placed it near the heating...then it enjoyed a massage with a niiice leather-cream,that I used for the saddle of my horse...and then I polished it ;o))
The Ascot has a very nice leather.It arrived in a good used condition,very flexible,smooth leather...
Right now it holds my old calendar,because I have to keep them for 10 years.So it will stay busy,because I often have to look at older phone numbers,patient-appointments and so on :o)

Scrapbookpaper-haul ...

 Frontside and backside of the paper...they sold some single paper-sheets,for 0,39 cent

 Also frontside and backside.The sheets are much bigger,so they sold them for 99 cent

The small paperpad includes some really nice paper,that I already made some deviders from :o)

Beautiful Chameleon A5

Suddenly everyone seemed to own Chameleons...
Then I realized that they were on sale,on some Filofax sites.
Again I watched a billion youtube videos,to get a closer look to that binder.
All I was longing for,at that moment,was an aqua coloured Chameleon,in A5 ;o)
The best video at that point came from Australia,from "lifeiscrafted"-Arienne!She made such a nice video,I love,love,love it!!On that video I could see the beautiful colour of the Chameleon raspberry!!!
Then I was soooo lucky,to get one for 50%less *LOL*,that seems to be my favorite "left off"!

The pocketsize Chameleon is very,very flexible.When the A5 arrived,I was a little surprised about the stiffness of the binder - but to me it is perfect,because I like them a bit stiffer,when I have them on my knees,while I´m writing.
I thought it will never lie flat,but it does :o)
For a very brief time I thought about making this one my work-Filo - but that won`t work at all - the Finchley is too perfect,like it was just made to fullfill my needs!

Now this Beauty is my Family&Home-Binder.
It keeps my diary,that I write almost every day.
It keeps all the news from my cute little boys (Noah is 5 years old,Tammo 1 year and 7 month).
It keeps lists of music,books,films,wishlists...stuff that I always need to buy-and often forget (I should better write that down in my wallet-Chameleon*LOL*),some lists of blogpost,that have to move in another Binder...and stuff that I often forgot to do...in house&garden :o)

The raspberry colour is soooo beautiful!It is brightning up the darkest day...and night - it`s like a smile and a kiss :ox

1.) New year`s resolutions 2013

- losing 5 kg Christmas-chocolate around my tummy....
- starting my "running-project" again+holding on to that
- starting singing again!!
- Noah should learn how to swim...
- spending more time with the children at the Baltic sea :o)

That should be enough.... ;o)

In  Novembre 2012 I made my first youtube video.
I was really surprised,how many videos existing,about Filofaxes!Soooo...because I am not shy,I decided to give it a try!
My very first try was a ... desaster :o))I filmed with my tablet-pc,not knowing,that it is possible to film and watch myself on the screen,too!So...I talked and filmed,and talked...and made kind of a "breast-video"!!Without face,just the very top of the Filofax *lalala*
In Germny we say : "Frauen und Technik" ;o))

The first one was about the Finchley A5,the Holborn,the pocket Malden and pocket Finchley...
And while I recorded the "breast-video",my Babycat Coco was sitting on the shelf behind me and touseled my hair....
